Marathoner Training for First Triathlon
I always wanted to do a triathlon. I ran a full and half marathons within the last 2 years. I just learned how to swim in a month and can only swim about 50 yards without getting tired. I can do the biking and running part fairly easy. I was wondering how long would I have to train for in order to do a triathlon? My main concern is my swimming since I am only able to swim 50 yards. How long will I have to train to be able to swim half a mile to 1 mile? Thank you for your help. Best Regards
Michael from California
