Biking Short Question for Beginner Traithletes
I am thinking about doing a sprint triathalon, and was wondering whether people swim in their bike shorts, or put them on after swimming? I am unsure how to decide what to do.

Our suggestion is for beginner triathletes to wear a fitted bathing suit while swimming and then throw some bike shorts over the swim suit. Bike shorts tend to have padding in the butt, which is fantastic for the bike ride…But, having that extra padding while swimming just allows you to carry more weight as your butt absorbs the ocean or lake.
So, swim suit first; Bike shorts second!
Hope that helps.
