Triathlons in a Pool
Hey triathanewbie, my first triathlon is in one week. It’s a sprint and I’m getting more and more psyched about it every day. One quick question…In a pool swim, will slower swimmers stay the right or anything? Any unspoken rules, or etiquette I should know about? Your site rocks!! I’ll let you know how the race goes. Thanks!!!

Thank you for contacting TriathaNewbie.com!
We suggest that you call the race organizers and ask about how they run it. Lots of places run it lots of different ways and you’d have to ask to be sure. Some run heats; some run snakes; others may do something totally different.
Please let us know how it goes in good luck!!!
