| Mini-Triathlon in Oregon, 97062
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for contacting TraithaNewbie.com! We looked for mini-triathlons in your area from now through the end of September and were able to locate two: It's hard to tell from your email whether we should recommend that you wait until next summer or try and train for the events listed above. If you are able to sustain intense activity for about two hours AND can already swim properly, we think you can grab a 3 month training course and pull it off. If you are not at this level, we suggest that you grab a longer training course that lasts 9 months and start training over the winter. It will gradually bring you up to a competitive level and you will avoid overtraining which will keep you from getting injured easily. Let us know how it goes. Be well. Niki Jamieson
