Trisuits and Wetsuits
I’m participaiting in my 1st Tri using full wetsuit. In the past I’ve used a 2 piece combination. Do you suggest I wear both my tri shorts and top (it’s not a 1 piece tri suit) under my wetsuit or just the tri shorts and put the tri shirt on in T1?
Thank you for contacting TriathaNewbie.com!
We suggest that you wear both the top and bottoms of your trisuit under your wetsuit because if your upper body gets wet for any reason, you’ll have a hell of a time trying to get your tri top on after you get out of the water. Plus, it’s one less thing to think about T1 if you already have it on. If there’s a particular reason why you can’t wear the top under the wetsuit, let us know and we’ll try an helpyou come up with a solution.
